Baton Rouge (La.) General Hospital's Mid City Specialty Center held an open house where hospital and surgery center leaders met members of the community, brproud.com reported.
The Mid City Specialty Center is located on the second floor of Baton Rouge General Mid City campus, and opened earlier this year.
The surgery center specializes in same-day surgeries and minimally invasive procedures for vascular patients.
Baton Rouge General CEO and President Edgardo Tenreiro, Vascular Specialty Center CEO Naomi Nelson and Baton Rouge General's Chief Nursing Officer Monica Nijoka attended the open house.
