Christopher l. Jimenez, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, joined San Marcos, Texas-based Live Oak Health Partners Specialty Care clinic, the San Marcos Daily Herald reported.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Jimenez:

1. He will provide orthopedic and sports-related medical care.

2. Dr. Jimenez specializes in total joint replacements of the knee and hip, as well as revision surgery.

3. He received his medical degree from the San Antonio-based University of Texas Health Science Center and completed his orthopedic residency at Salt Lake City-based University of Utah Health.
