AdvancedMD completes acquisition of NueMD: 4 things to know

AdvancedMD acquired Nuesoft Technologies, or “NueMD”.

Here are four things to know:

1. AdvancedMD created Rhythm, an end-to-end cloud platform that automates all aspects of workflow for independent physician practices and medical billing services.

2. NueMD is a multi-tenant, software as a service platform, offering direct-to-payer clearinghouse that delivers same day claims processing to practices in nearly all specialties. NueMD also offers medical billing outsourcing services.

3. As a result of the transaction, AdvancedMD’s North American footprint will increase by 27 percent, expanding to 11,000 medical practice clients and 33,000 practitioners. AdvancedMD will retain NueMD offices in Marietta, Georgia.

4. Marlin Equity Partners, a global investment firm with over $6.7 billion of capital under management, owns AdvancedMD.
