Colorado physicians partner to build surgery center — 4 insights

Several Longmont, Colo.-based physicians have partnered to build the Advanced Vision Surgery Center in Longmont, BizWest reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Development firm MBRAT Global is in the midst of constructing a 10,230-square-foot medical office building, which’ll house the surgery center, in Longmont. The building is adjacent to Longmont-based Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado.

2. The surgery center will include two operating rooms as well as medical offices.

3. Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado physicians will perform Lasik, retinal surgery, corneal transplants and plastic surgery at the center.

4. MBRAT Global acquired the land the surgery center is being built on in 2013 for $300,000.
