5 things to know about ASCA’s new board president Larry Taylor

Hoover, Ala.-based Practice Partners in Healthcare’s President and CEO Larry Taylor was voted the next president of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association’s board.

Here are five things to know about him.

1. Prior to founding Practice Partners, Mr. Taylor was president and CEO of an ASC provider.

2. He previously served on the boards of ASCA and the ASCA Foundation.

3. He has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, management and physician relations.

4. Practice Partners has helped develop and open several surgery centers since its founding.

5. Mr. Taylor also is an adjunct professor in healthcare at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
