Gainesville, Fla.-based The Orthopaedic Institute selected Rich Gilbert, MD to serve as its new CEO. It also added William Hubbard and Michael Anderson to its leadership team.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Dr. Gilbert has 25-plus years of healthcare management experience, most recently as president of MDLive’s medical group.

2. He also served as Mednax’s CMO and as the CEO of Lincolnton, N.C.-based Southeast Anesthesia Consultants.

3. Mr. Hubbard will be the company’s COO and Mr. Anderson will be vice president of corporate development.
