Here’s what you should know:
1. The surgery center will add 6,000 square feet, bringing its total footprint up to 11,000 square feet.
2. The United Surgical Partners International-affiliate will expand its lobby, build a new sterilization unit and increase the size of its recovery room area.
3. Kadean Construction is developing the expansion, which is expected to be complete in early August.
4. Kadean Construction President Mike Eveler said, “Ambulatory surgical centers like Old Tesson Surgery Center are growing in demand. As our nation’s population ages and the need for various joint replacements and other outpatient surgery continues to grow, these centers provide excellent medical services to patients across the country.”
5. Center physicians specialize in ophthalmology and orthopedic surgery.
