Traverse City-based Northwest Michigan Surgery Center rebranded and reopened as Copper Ridge Surgery Center after multiple patients had trouble remembering the center’s name, WWTV reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The surgery center has served patients since 2004. The center adopted a new name and logo for the rebrand.

2. Copper Ridge Surgery Center is a joint venture with Traverse City-based Munson Healthcare.

3. The surgery center offers numerous services including ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery, hand surgery and ophthalmology, among others.

4. Symphony Performance Health awarded the center its APEX Quality Award for Patient Satisfaction in 2013 and 2014.
