Here are five things to know:
1. OakBend Medical Center operated for two days during the hurricane before officials called a Code Grey Disaster.
2. Following the code, the hospital limited access to patients and lowered the number of staff and visitations.
3. OakBend closed its surgery centers during that time, as well.
4. OakBend Medical Center is one of the few Level II Trauma Centers in the Richmond area.
5. Officials lifted Code Grey Sept. 1 and the hospital returned to full operations.
