St. Paul, Minn.-based HealthEast and Minnesota-based Summit Orthopedics formed a deal that gives HealthEast a minority interest in Summit’s Vadnais Heights (Minn.) Surgery Center.
Surgical Care Affiliates made an equity investment in Danbury-based Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgery Center, effective May 1. The addition expands SCA’s network to seven surgery centers.
Cleveland Clinic and Jupiter, Fla.-based Rendina Healthcare Real Estate partnered to construct a $32 million, 72,000-square-foot health center in Coral Springs, Fla. The center will include an ASC.
Miami-based Baptist Health South Florida acquired a controlling interest in Sunset, Fla.-based Galloway Surgery Center and in Kendall (Fla.) Endoscopy Center.
Abilene, Texas-based Hendrick Health System dedicated its new surgery center in Brownwood, Texas, on May 12. The center is a joint venture between the health system and Abilene and Brownwood physicians.
