Here are four things to know:
1. University of Maryland Shore Regional Health has presented plans to build a new medical pavilion in the facility.
2. The plans include a building that would house an ASC in addition to imaging, X-ray, laboratory, rehabilitation and diagnostic services.
3. The medical pavilion would include care for orthopedics, diabetes, gynecology and other services.
4. Shore Regional Health CEO Ken Kozel said the health system ultimately aims to bring telemedicine services to residents through the facility.
