Here are six recent ASC acquisitions and partnerships announced in May 2017.

Alabama-based The Sanders Trust acquired Hagerstown, Md.-based Parkway Professional Center, which includes Parkway Surgery Center, a Surgical Care Affiliates facility.

Great Neck, N.Y.-based Northwell Health formed a clinical affiliation with Syracuse, N.Y.-based Crouse Health. Northwell is acquiring two ASCs through the action.

Miami-based Baptist Health South Florida acquired a controlling interest in Sunset, Fla.-based Galloway Surgery Center and in Kendall (Fla.) Endoscopy Center.

Cleveland Clinic and Jupiter, Fla.-based Rendina Healthcare Real Estate partnered to construct a $32 million, 72,000-square-foot health center in Coral Springs, Fla.

Providence, R.I-based Prospect CharterCare purchased Johnston, R.I.-based Blackstone Valley Surgicare, Rhode Island’s largest freestanding ASC.

Optum’s Surgical Care Affiliates made an equity investment in Danbury-based Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgery Center, effective May 1.
