Dr. Fishbein began his career after earning his medical degree from the Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania as well.
He is a member of several professional associations including the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Physicians and American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Fishbein is an AGA and ACP fellow.
The Miami Herald named Dr. Fishbein one of its 2009 best physicians as chosen by his peers.
