GI leader to know: Dr. Larry Taylor of the Digestive Disease Clinic

Larry Taylor, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Tallahassee, Fla.-based Digestive Disease Clinic.

Dr. Taylor began his career after the Navy commissioned him into service. He earned his medical degree from Fayetteville-based University of Arkansas. He completed an internship, residency and fellowship with at Naval Hospital San Diego.

He continued to practice at Naval Hospital San Diego eventually serving as the endoscopy unit’s director.

Afterwards, Dr. Taylor served as a San Diego-based University of California and Veterans Administration visiting fellow. He also served as a staff physician and the director of intensive care units at the Guam-based Naval Hospital.

He has a wife and two children.
