The Ohio Gastroenterology & Liver Institute’s Pradeep Bekal, MD, opened the HyGIeaCare Center in February, the Cincinnati Business Journal reports. Both practices are based in Cincinnati.

Here’s what you should know.

1. The HyGIeaCare Center features machines that increase bowel preparation quality.

2. The HyGIeaCare Center charges $245 and requires a prescription. Insurance will not cover the procedure.

3. The Ohio Gastroenterology & Liver Institute is the only practice in the region offering the system. There are other HyGIeaCare centers in Arizona, Texas and Virginia.
