RedHill Biopharma enters into license agreement with Entera Health: 3 notes

Tel-Aviv, Israel-based RedHill Biopharma entered into a licensing agreement with Carcy, N.C.-based Entera Hill for its EnteraGam.

Here’s what you should know.

1. EnteraGam is a commercially-available medical food that manages chronic diarrhea and loose stools. The product had more than $5 million in net sales for fiscal year 2016.

2. RedHill will pay Entera Health tiered royalties on net sales. Entera Health is also granting RedHill certain rights to its dicyclomine hydrochloride oral solution, an antispasmodic and anticholinergic agent which treats functional bowel/irritable bowel syndrome.

3. RedHill wants to promote its two gastroenterology specialty products Donnatal and EnteraGam in mid-2017.
