Resurgens Orthopaedics opening ASC in summer 2017: 4 key points

Georgia-based Resurgens Orthopaedics is strengthening its outpatient presence and opening a new surgery center in Fayetteville, Ga., in summer 2017, according to The Citizen.

Here are four key points:

1. The new surgery center will solely offer orthopedic services.

2. The ASC also has overnight observation capabilities.

3. Resurgens Orthopaedics has a surgery center in Morrow, Ga., in addition to rehabilitation facilities throughout the state.

4. Mark Albritton, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Resurgens Orthopaedics, told The Citizen the Morrow ASC is “extremely efficient” and makes surgery a smoother and easier process for the patient.
