1. Dr. Karalis specializes in liver disease, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease ulcerative colitis and other gastrointestinal tract diseases.

2. His career began after he earned his degree from Bucharest, Romania-based Carol Davila School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Long Island, N.Y.-based Cornell University and his fellowship at Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest University.

3. Dr. Karalis will practice at the practice’s endoscopy center.
