Vision Eye Center acquires Virginia eye care practice: 3 key notes

Roanoke, Va.-based Vistar Eye Center acquired Rocky Mount, Va.-based Saxon Angle and Associates, The Roanoke Times reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Al Angle II, OD, retired after a nearly 40-year career. He sold the practice to Vistar.

2. Vistar Eye Center will take over the practice this spring. Vistar physicians will maintain the office’s current eye procedure offerings.

3. Dr. Angle said to The Roanoke Times, “I have worked with Vistar Eye Center’s doctors since I began my practice in Rocky Mount. I am very pleased that Vistar will continue providing care to my many patients and to the Rocky Mount community.”
