He specializes in treating ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.
Dr. Annaba’s career began after he earned his medical degree from the Syria-based Damascus University School of Medicine. He moved to the United States and completed his residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He completed a fellowship at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago.
Dr. Annaba is affiliated with several Springfield-based hospitals including Memorial Medical Center and St. John’s Hospital.
He is a member of the Illinois State Medical Society.
