He is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology.
Dr. Daves began his career after earning his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He stayed at the medical university for his internship, residency and fellowship.
Dr. Daves is a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the South Carolina Medical Association.
His career motivation is found in “helping young, active people with digestive problems, through the eye of the endoscope.”
