Nanticoke Physician Network adds Dr. Ismet Lukolic: 4 things to know

Ismet Lukolic, MD, has joined Seaford, Del.-based Nanticoke Physician Network Gastroenterology & Hepatology, according to the Sussex Countian.

Here are four things to know about Dr. Lukolic:

1. He is board-eligible in internal medicine.

2. He is involved with the New York City Medical Reserve Corps and is a volunteer medical officer for the Illyrian Society of Law Enforcement Officers.

3. He holds memberships with American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and Albanian American Medical Society, among other professional societies. 

4. He earned his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, a country in the Caribbean. He went on to complete a gastroenterology residency and fellowship at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in New York City.
