NY-based Rochester Regional Health plans ambulatory care center: 3 thoughts

Rochester Regional Health is planning a $26 million ambulatory care center in Irondequoit, N.Y., according to the Rochester Business Journal.

Here’s what you should know.

1. The center will be developed in a 60,000 square foot building.

2. RRH applied for a certificate of need and is hoping to receive it by year’s end.

3. Nonsurgical services will primarily be offered through the center, with many being moved from Rochester General Hospital or its adjacent buildings.

The soon-to-be unused space in the hospital will be reallocated at a later time.
