AAAHC accredits Argus Dental and Vision: 4 takeaways

Tampa, Fla-based Argus Dental and Vision was recently accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care for dental and vision.

Here’s what you should know.

1. The vision plan was accredited for the first time, while the dental plan was re-accreditation.

2. The accreditation process consists of several on-site audits, provider site visits interviews with leadership and an examination of various aspects of the clinics.

3. Argus’ dental, and now, vision plan were the first ever to be accredited by AAAHC.

4. Argus is a benefits company that provides benefits to its numerous members. It was started by a Florida dentist and is now operated by several employees with experience in the insurance industry.
