The Bayview Surgery Center, of Sarasota, Fla., recently was accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Here’s what you need to know about the outpatient surgery center.

1. The center offers a full range of endoscopic gastrointestinal procedure with colorectal cancer screenings and problems including heartburn, constipation and abdominal pain being the most common things treated.

2. The center has four physicians on staff.

3. The state-of-the-art facility has multiple procedure rooms with a recovery bay. The center has a commitment to only performing surgeries and will not see patients that are experiencing illness.
