Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center buys majority interest in ASC; expands ASC portfolio: 4 key notes

Baton Rouge, La.-based Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center purchased a majority stake in an ambulatory surgery center in Slidell, La., according to The Washington Times.

1. The surgery center is a joint venture between United Surgical Partners International and its physician owners.

2. Our Lady of the Lake currently owns two ASCs in Baton Rouge, and an urgent care center and surgery center in Covington, La.

3. The hospital did not disclose the deal’s terms.
