Here are five things to know:
1. The ASC is a joint venture between Bryan Health and more than 60 local physicians.
2. Equipped with six surgical suites, the ASC will offer services including orthopedics, podiatry, gynecology, dental, plastics and general surgery.
3. The 17,000-square-foot surgery center will also have room to expand.
4. The surgery center will occupy the first floor and physician offices will occupy the second, third and fourth floors.
5. Bryan Health expects the ASC to open in 2018.
