Pentax Medical acquired more than 90 percent of shares in Simmedica.

Here are three notes:

1. Simmedica provides the Spanish and Portuguese healthcare markets endoscopy and surgery products and services.

2. Simmedica has increased the sales volume of its products and services in recent years, which led Pentax Medical to acquire the majority of the company’s shares.

3. Established in 2001, four shareholders previously owned Simmedica, of which Pentax Medical was already the largest.
