Here are four gastroenterologists who recently made headlines.

Smart Clinic, a new mHealth company founded by gastroenterologist Paul J. Berggreen, MD, has been selected as a winner in the fall 2015 round of the Arizona Innovation Challenge.

James Lewis, MD, will serve as the principal investigator of Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America study funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.

Dustin Deming, MD, a gastrointestinal cancer expert at University of Wisconsin Health in Madison, who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer at the age of 31, was featured in a Wisconsin State Journal article.

Jordan Berlin, MD, co-leader of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Research Program at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville, participated in Fight Colorectal Cancer’s One Million Strong Showcase on April 1.
