Aetna may proceed with its bid to buy Humana’s companies in Florida, if conditions are met, according to 90.7 WMFE.

Here are four notes:

1. The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation requires Aetna to continue “fair treatment of Floridians with HIV.” This is in response to Aetna’s previous act of raising HIV drug costs to discourage enrollment.

2. Florida asks that Aetna sells ACA health plans in five new counties by 2018 and statewide by 2020.

3. The regulators did not propose a divestiture, which involves the introduction of a third insurance company where Humana and Aetna would be too dominant.

4. The U.S. Department of Justice and the Florida Attorney General have not approved the deal, yet.
