REIT acquires Baylor Surgery Center at Fort Worth: 5 things to know

Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II, based in Tampa, Fla., has acquired the facility housing Baylor Surgery Center at Forth Worth in Texas.

Here are five things to know about the acquisition.

1. CVMC REIT II acquired the facility for approximately $14.36 million.

2. The 36,800-square-foot ASC is located on a 3.52-acre plot of land.

3. Following the transaction, which closed Dec. 23, 2015, the surgery center is 100 percent leased.

4. Baylor Surgery Center at Forth Worth houses 10 operating rooms and an MRI suite.

5. The surgery center hosts approximately 9,500 procedures each year.
