Lake Nona VA Medical Center offers new ambulatory surgery services — 4 highlights

Ambulatory surgical services are now open at Orlando VA Medical Center (Fla.), according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Here are four highlights:

1. The services include ambulatory surgery and endoscopy.

2. The services were transferred from Lake Baldwin to Lake Nona.

3. There are eight endoscopy units for gastroenterology and pulmonary medicine procedures.

4. Other services include orthopedics, pain management, podiatry, plastic surgery, urology and vascular surgery.
