Surgery Partners’ EBITDA reaches $40M, Medical Facilities reports a 90% payout ratio & more— 5 key notes on ASC companies

Here are five updates on ASC companies.

For the third quarter, Surgery Partners’ adjusted EBITDA rose 148 percent to $39.9 million, compared to $16.1 million for the same period last year.

Medical Facilities Corp. reported a payout ratio of 89.8 percent for the third quarter, compared to 82.4 percent for the same period the year prior.

Conifer Health Solutions, a subsidiary of Tenet Healthcare, saw its EBITDA rise 30 percent to $61 million during the third quarter, a 29.8 percent increase from the third quarter of 2014.

AmSurg reported $187.4 million cash and cash equivalents for the third quarter. Net cash flows from operations, less distributions to non-controlling interests, reached $118.7 million.

During the week of Nov. 23 to Nov. 27, Hospital Corporation of America shares traded at $69.28 per share, up nearly 3 percent.
