St. Luke’s Magic Valley broke ground on a new outpatient surgery center, according to a KMVT report.

1. There has been a 33 percent increase in outpatient surgical volumes at St. Luke’s, so the hospital decided to open the new center.

2. The outpatient surgery center is in a separate building next to St. Luke’s Magic Valley.

3. The surgery center is seven years in the making.
