Dr. Herrington has served as chairman of medicine at Lafayette General Hospital and chief of staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. He has also served as course director for the American College of Gastroenterology’s last two regional postgraduate courses held in New Orleans. He has authored several articles focusing on esophageal motor disorders, chest pain and their treatment in a number of professional journals.
Dr. Herrington earned his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Ochsner Health System in Jefferson, La.
