GI physician leader to know: Dr. Jennifer Brenner of Colorado Gastroenterology

Jennifer W. Brenner, MD, is a gastroenterologist providing care at Denver-based Colorado Gastroenterology, Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colo., and Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver. She is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Dr. Brenner is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and American College of Gastroenterology. She focuses on women’s health issues related to gastrointestinal health and liver diseases. She also has a professional interest in gastroesophageal reflux disease, constipation, hepatitis C and irritable bowel syndrome.

Dr. Brenner received her medical degree from Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. She completed internal medicine residency at the University of Texas, Southwestern in Dallas and her gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center.
