Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County seeks funding options for surgery center

Earlier this year, Sweetwater County Commissioners denied Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County approval of a $43 million revenue bond for a new surgery center, according to a Green River Star report.

The hospital, located in Rock Springs, Wyo., is now seeking alternative avenues for funding its new facility. Private investment firms are a possible option, according to the report. Six companies have already approached the hospital about the possibility of partnering on the new surgery center.
