1. There are companies trying to make healthcare accessible through a phone’s app.
2. The app would schedule transportation to the physician, confirm the physician was in your health insurance network and make sure the physician was available within the hour.
3. Further, all health forms would be automatically sent to the new physician and all prescriptions would be automatically sent to the pharmacy.
4. However, several issues arise with this ideal app, the obvious being a high demand for physicians and not enough supply.
5. Another complication is the creation of a system supportive enough to manage such massive exchange of data across many platforms.
6. The lagging technology in the healthcare industry and privacy issues would also hinder the development of such an app, at present.
