Eye surgeon Dr. Richard Tipperman to participate in ‘Live Surgery’ event

Ophthalmologist Richard Tipperman, MD, will be participating in the “Live Surgery” symposium, which is a part of the 2015 American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Annual Meeting to be held in San Diego through April 21.

During the event, surgeons perform procedures on patients while being telecast to attendees of the annual meeting.

Dr. Tipperman practices with Ophthalmic Partners in Bala Cynwyd, Pa., and Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.

He was the first physician in the in Philadelphia area to perform laser assisted cataract surgery with the LenSx femtosecond laser at Main Line Surgery Center in Bala Cynwyd.
