GI societies, FDA to hold workshop on regulations, therapeutics advancements in GI

A number of professional GI societies and the FDA Center for Drug Evaluation and Research will host the two-day workshop Gastroenterology Regulatory Endpoints and the Advancement of Therapeutics on March 30 to March 31.

The host GI societies include the:

•    American College of Gastroenterology
•    American Gastroenterological Association
•    Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America
•    North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition
•    North American Society for the Study of Celiac Disease
•    Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Foundation

The public workshop will serve as a forum to discuss appropriate clinical outcomes measures for drug development in IBD and celiac disease.
