ACG launches new award for CRC awareness month

The American College of Gastroenterology has launched the first annual SCOPY Awards, designed to honor ACG members for efforts made during Colorectal Cancer Awareness month.

The recognition is a service award for colorectal cancer outreach, prevention and year-round excellence. Winners will be invited to a special reception at ACG 2015 in Hawaii.

Criteria for the award include:

• Scientific accuracy
• Potential public health impact
• Educational value
• Number of online views
