GI physician leader to know: Dr. Aaron Brzezinski of Cleveland Clinic

Aaron Brzezinski, MD, is a staff gastroenterologist at Cleveland Clinic. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Physicians. He is also an honorary member of the board of directors for Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.

Dr. Brzezinski focuses on celiac disease, collagenous colitis, Crohn’s disease, eosinophilic gastroenteritis, inflammatory bowel disease, microscopic colitis and ulcerative colitis. He has won numerous awards over the course of his career, including the Premier Physician Award in Northeast Ohio Chapter from the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.

Dr. Brzezinski is actively involved in research and has been the either principal investigator or sub-investigator in numerous clinical trials. He has lectured extensively within the United States and internationally.

Dr. Brzezinski earned his medical degree at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in Mexico City. He completed his residency as well as a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine in Canada.
