HCV outbreak confirmed at Tri-City Colonoscopy Clinic in Canada

It has been confirmed that five patients treated at the Tri-City Colonoscopy Clinic in Ontario, Canada, are infected with hepatitis C, according to a CBCnews report.

The five patients are among 13 who received treatment on Dec. 24, 2013, according to the report.

The endoscopy clinic is fully cooperating with Waterloo Region Public Health’s investigation.
