An issue of AmSurg bonds rose 1.8 percent last week, trading at $101.75, according to a WKRB News & Analysis report.

Richard Sharff, general counsel for Surgical Care Affiliates, sold 1,350 shares of company stock for a total transaction price of $43,929, according a report from The Legacy.

Hospital Corporation of America intends to buy back half of Bain Capital Investors’ $1.13 billion stake in HCA. The buy back is valued at about $555.7 million, minus a 1 percent discount

Earlier this month, Northstar Healthcare acquired marketing company Athas Health for $34 million. Following the acquisition, the company rebranded as Nobilis Health.

Laser Spine Institute broke ground on a new $56 million headquarters in and plans to add 100 new jobs.
