Of the organization’s operational goals for the next four years, 75 percent are dedicated to patient-safety related objectives. They include:
- Enhance oversight of FDA-regulated products
- Improve and safeguard access to FDA-regulated products to benefit health
- Promote better informed decisions about the use of FDA-regulate products
To accomplish these goals, the FDA plans to review the ways in which it leverages its analytics capabilities, according to a report from HealthIT Analytics.
