Olympus launches QuickClip Pro for GI bleeding control

Olympus has announced the commercial availability of its FDA 510(k)-cleared QuickClip Pro, a hemostasis clip designed for GI bleeding control and defect closure during GI/endoscopy procedures.

The QuickClip Pro is designed for rotational control and open and close capabilities for easy repositioning.

Endoscopic clipping represents the fastest growing market for GI endoscopy hemostasis. The market is expected to reach a sales volume of $75.3 million in 2014, according to the Olympus news release.
