Dr. Strobel is also director, division of obstetrical anesthesiology at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y. He is also an assistant professor at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine and holds leadership positions with several professional societies.
Dr. Strobel and his wife plan to donate a portion of the winnings to various charities.
