Washington University Anesthesiologists Partner With Teaching Hospital in Ghana to Improve Care

Washington University in St. Louis announced that the department of anesthesiology in its school of medicine has established a partnership with the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and faculty of the University of Ghana Medical School.

The partnership aims at providing training opportunities for anesthesiology residents and fellows and improving care in Ghana. Anesthesiology subspecialty teams are being sent to the teaching hospital in Ghana to provide care and help train general and subspecialty physicians from all over Ghana.
