ASA Names Dr. Daniel Cole First VP of Executive Committee

The American Society of Anesthesiologists announced that Daniel J. Cole, MD, has been named first vice president of the ASA Executive Committee.

The announcement was made during the ANESTHESIOLOGY 2013 annual meeting. Dr. Cole is professor of anesthesiology and vice dean for continuous professional development at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He has completed a fellowship in neuroanesthesia at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine.
