SoutheastHEALTH Center Expansion Plans Include Surgery Center Remodel

SoutheastHEALTH Center intends to borrow $40 million in bonds to fund the expansion and remodeling of its facility in Cape Girardeau, Mo., according to a Southeast Missourian report.

The expansion project will include the remodeling of the hospital’s ambulatory surgery center and neonatal intensive care unit and the addition of an outpatient observation unit and inpatient pediatric emergency room.

The remodeling of the ambulatory surgery area is expected to be completed in the fall of 2014.
